“I strive to create a space where you don’t have to have it all together. You can show up exactly as you are: messy, overwhelmed, uncertain, or hopeful, and we’ll work through it together. My goal isn’t to tell you how to live your life. It’s to help you better understand yourself and make choices that align with the person you want to be.”
Ages & Populations Served: Teens (14+), college students, and adults · In-Person & Telehealth
I may be a good fit for you if…
- You want a therapist who is warm, compassionate, and isn’t afraid to challenge you when it’s helpful.
- You’re feeling stuck and are ready to better understand what’s keeping you there.
- You want more than someone who just listens. You’re looking for insight, practical tools, and meaningful change.
- You’re navigating a major life transition and want support that feels both validating and grounded.
- You appreciate honesty, collaboration, and maybe even a little humor along the way.
My Approach
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches and tailor treatment to each client’s needs, goals, and preferences. My approach may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT).
I believe therapy works best when we’re working together. Your feedback matters, and I want you to have an active role in shaping your treatment. I regularly check in about what’s working, what’s not, and whether therapy is moving you toward the goals that brought you in.
I also practice from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and multicultural perspective. When appropriate, I incorporate creative and expressive interventions, including Sandplay, for clients who connect with a more experiential approach to therapy.

What Sessions With Tori May Feel Like
Expect therapy to feel conversational, collaborative, and purposeful. I want you to have a say in what we talk about and what you want to get out of our time together. If you know what you need to talk about, we’ll start there. If you don’t, that’s okay too. I’ll draw from what I know about you, what we’ve talked about before, and what’s been happening in your life to help us find a place to start.
Some sessions may be about processing something that’s been weighing on you. Other times, we might work through a problem, learn a new skill, make connections, or figure out what you want to do differently moving forward.
You don’t need to come to therapy with everything figured out. You just need to show up. We’ll start where you are and take it from there.

A Little About Me
My decision to become a therapist was deeply personal. I went through a difficult period in my own life when I needed someone to listen, help me make sense of what I was experiencing, and support me without judgment. That experience shaped the kind of therapist I wanted to become. I wanted to be for someone else what I needed during that time.
Today, my passion for this work extends beyond the therapy room. As a practice owner, I’m passionate about clinician wellness and mentorship, and about creating a space where both clients and therapists can be supported as whole people.
At the end of the day, I’m a therapist, but I’m also a person. I value honesty, humor, and real conversations about real life.
