Heart 2 Soul Counseling started with a simple belief: healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported — and it continues when they leave sessions with real insight and real tools.
Our story
Founded by Tori Mackley in 2021, Heart 2 Soul Counseling began with a commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Since opening our doors, we have grown from a small private practice into a team of dedicated mental health professionals serving teens and adults throughout the York community. In October 2023, we moved to our current home at 800 East King Street, Suite 525, creating additional space for our growing practice. In 2026, Heart 2 Soul reached another important milestone by becoming an approved National Health Service Corps site—furthering our longstanding mission to make quality, affordable mental health care more accessible to the people and families we serve.
What we believe
We believe meaningful healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, validated, and supported. But we don't think therapy should stop at simply listening — our clinicians want clients to develop insight, learn useful skills, make meaningful progress, and experience real improvement in their lives.
Where we're headed
What started as a single therapist is growing into a full group practice. We expect to reach approximately five clinicians by the end of the year, and we occasionally host graduate-level counseling interns working under close supervision.
